Success Story – Susie Robertson

Susie Robertson

Our series of HPMS Success Stories continues with Susie Robertson, another of our Glasgow Team Managers.

Susie joined the firm in 2014 as an Assistant Property Manager, having graduated a number of years earlier with a First Class Honours degree in Film and Media / English Studies, and a wealth of practical experience in the property industry.
Susie progressed to the position of Team Manager in 2017 and has a particular focus on customer communication, enjoying motivating her colleagues by demonstrating how strong communication with homeowners can assist in providing a better level of customer service. Susie has a wide understanding of the Property Factoring industry and has worked with all levels of experience within the company, focusing on how we may best assist different types of property, such as retirement developments, modern apartments and traditional tenements, with their various maintenance requirements.

Susie has a number of interests and is enthusiastic about art, local history and Scotland’s built environment. Susie’s keen interest in the built environment enhances her enjoyment of managing a team overseeing properties in the East End and South-East of Glasgow, and she takes pleasure in assisting homeowners with maintaining and preserving their buildings for the future.
After 9 years at HPMS Susie was thrilled to be nominated last spring for Property Manager of the Year and represented the company well at the Property Managers Association Scotland (PMAS) Excellence Awards along with her fellow award nominees. This year, Susie’s hard work was rewarded in her achievement of the Professional Diploma in Property Factoring – with a fantastic exam score of 98% – and she has been successful in encouraging and mentoring her colleagues through the dedicated study group she created.
