Green Initiative Update

green initiative

Since we first shared the news of how we planned to reduce our carbon footprint through our Green Initiative back in April 2023, we are delighted to report on some very positive progress.

Currently, well over 70% of our customers receive paperless correspondence from us, and we are hopeful that our most recent reminder letter to our remaining customers about the benefits of this will increase that number again.

The introduction of our two fully liveried electric pool cars has been very well received by our Glasgow team members who are enjoying travelling to visit our customers in an environmentally friendly way. Now that our Edinburgh team has successfully settled into their new home, we also plan to purchase an electric car for our Edinburgh team to use in the near future.

The efficient layout of our new Edinburgh office space has enabled us to remove the individual desk printers, and staff now make use of two multi-function devices that are shared throughout the office. This brings many benefits, including reduced paper and toner use as well as increased verbal communication between staff and our customers. It is our intention to introduce this successful model shortly in our Glasgow office.

We would like to thank our customers and staff for their continued support of our Green Initiative.
