Hacking and Paterson are pleased to be supporting Glasgow’s “Inspiring City Awards” for the third year running. The Awards celebrate and reward the people and organisations who “make Glasgow great” by contributing to the city’s cultural and economic climate.
Spearheaded by The Herald, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and city brand PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW, and in association with a range of fellow successful and significant Glasgow businesses – including Glasgow Fort, Caledonian University and Glasgow Airport – Hacking and Paterson are pleased to be able to celebrate the new generation of citizens who have gone the extra mile over the past year to ensure Glasgow continues to flourish.
Awards are presented in 15 categories covering Business, Education, Arts, Culture and Sport, and Hacking and Paterson are thrilled to again be sponsoring the “Legacy Award” which recognises an individual or business who has made a significant contribution to the city’s legacy and a positive difference to citizens of Glasgow. In this category, judges will assess how projects, businesses, individuals and communities can create lasting change across Glasgow.
Hacking and Paterson Director, David Doran, said: “Hacking and Paterson are delighted to be supporting this excellent awards programme for a third year running. We are proud of our Glasgow heritage and it is important to us to continue to invest in the people of Glasgow and the thriving local businesses which all contribute to making Glasgow such a great city. Each year we are impressed by all the nominees’ dedication to the betterment of Glasgow and we are again this year looking for entrants to the Legacy Award who are strong, dedicated and dynamic and who have, through their innovation, created significant change within their industry to contribute to the continued prosperity of Glasgow”.
Previous winners have included Glasgow Women’s Library, Allied Vehicles, Homeless World Cup, Glasgow Film Festival, Glasgow City Football Club, Laura Muir, DWF, Centre for Contemporary Arts, Scottish Water and citizenM Glasgow. Hacking and Paterson, along with all their event partners, are looking forward to congratulating the deserving winners at the Awards Ceremony in September.
